St. Petersburg shipbuilding enterprises in the last two years launched five ships. This was during the opening ceremony of the International naval salon said acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, reports TASS.
According to him, during this period also opened four new vessels and three — handed customers. “The St. Petersburg shipbuilding cluster in demand, has the most advanced technology, not only to build ships — we supply equipment and advanced system,” — said the mayor.
According to TASS, among the launched ships — Corvette “Rumbling”, mine counter measure vessels “Ivan Antonov” and “Vladimir Yemelyanov”.
At the international Maritime announcement, which is in its ninth year, net profit of 48 delegations from 35 countries, spoke fluently. Commander of the Navy of Russia Nikolay Evmenov, who spoke at the opening ceremony of the event, promised that visitors will see on the grounds of the salon “the new is the military-industrial complex of Russia”.
The salon will end on 14 July.
