The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine refused to send in resignation of the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin. For dismissal Klimkin only voted 160 deputies, said on Thursday, July 11, ЛІГА.net.
On the morning of 11 July, the foreign Affairs Committee of the Rada recommended that the fire Klimkin and to appoint in his place the Deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Vadim Pristayko. When voting for the resignation Klimkin one member was against and one abstained. Voting for Pristayko was unanimous.
In may, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has been submitted to the Parliament a decree on the resignation Klimkin, but MPs opposed.
June 27, Zelensky said that he learns about “the international” of Ukraine from the Internet, because Klimkin did not agree with him the answer to the Russian note on detainees in the Kerch Strait Ukrainian sailors.
The Minister replied that he had the authority to answer the note without the consent of the President.
Zelensky asked the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman to attract Klimkin to disciplinary action
