Russian police have less time to devote to solving crimes in favor of collecting fines. On Thursday, July 11, “the Tape.ru” on condition of anonymity, told the Colonel of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia.
“Everyone knows that the country has a plan to “stick”, the point of which is not disclosed crimes and the collection of fines. Because of this, the police actually turned into the collectors,” he said.
According to police, employees of the interior Ministry of Russia must collect not less than 70 percent of all the fines, and made this standard should be anyway. Otherwise, claims will be more serious than an unsolved crime.
Our source claims that for more than a year to the local departments don’t do the most necessary things, in particular stationery. Employees are forced to buy them for their own account, and some require a stack of paper with applying to the police. “Supposedly, the Division held a tender, and the supplier cheated,” said the Colonel of the interior Ministry.
“The tasks of the police frankly have changed: the Soviet police guarding the peaceful life of citizens, and the Russian police only provides services, including for the publication of convenient statistics. For law enforcement we no longer ask” — said the source “ru”.
