Forward “Locomotive” and the Russian team Fedor Smolov explained why he refused to go to the English club “West ham”. The words of the player leads “CHempionata”.
In the beginning of 2018 Smolov, then advocated “Krasnodar”, was close to moving to London. According to him, the clubs were able to agree, however he decided not to go in, “West ham”. “I had trauma. In England it was already the season, and we have vacation. I realized that while I recover, until you get in shape, while adapting to speeds even in training, take a long time,” explained Smolov.
Now, says the striker, he is calm with the prospect of moving to Europe. The player said he was pleased with the conditions in the “Locomotive”, however, in the event profitable for the club proposal would be “seriously thinking”.
About negotiations between “Krasnodar” and “West ham” became known in January 2018. Russian club insisted on the sale of the player at least 12 million pounds (13.6 million euros). Smolov himself was interested in moving to London, but in the end this idea was abandoned. In the winter of last year he also claimed Zenit St. Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund and Spanish “Seville”.
Smolov left the “Krasnodar” in the summer of 2018, clicking the “locomotive”. In the Moscow club he won the Cup and the Supercup of Russia.
