The Russians have evaluated the possibility of ethnic conflicts in the country

The majority of Russian citizens (64 percent) believe that currently in the country is impossible mass clashes on ethnic grounds. This is evidenced by the results of the survey “Levada-center”, which leads “Interfax”.

So, 83% of survey respondents exclude such collisions in the places where they live. 45% believe that this development “absolutely not”.

While more than 30 percent of Russians admit the possibility of ethnic clashes. Clashes of this kind in their places of residence does not exclude 15 percent of respondents.

The survey was conducted from 27 June to 4 July 2019 on a representative sample of urban and rural population with the volume of 1608 people aged 18 years and older in 137 localities, 50 subjects of the Federation.

Earlier in June, 46 percent of respondents “Levada-the centre” Russians called the positive aspect of life in the USSR, the absence of ethnic conflicts.
