In the barracks of the defense Ministry of Turkmenistan in the capital Ashgabat soldiers were forbidden to use the shower. About it reports “Radio Azatlyk” (Turkmen service of “Radio Liberty”).
According to a source publication, in the barracks there are 120 soldiers who are denied access to showers for more than a month. It was closed the captain, claiming that soldiers can’t contain showers clean.
Soldiers complain of bad smell and try to wash in the toilets, as in the Turkmen capital for several weeks is hot — the temperature is kept at around 40 degrees. However, the officers punished them for it. “The captain yells at them when she notices that the soldiers are washed in the toilets,” — says the interlocutor of the edition.
Earlier, in January, in Turkmenistan, the reserve officers were forbidden to leave the country. Then it was associated with the threat of invasion of Islamic militants from Afghanistan.
