Named share of Russians who have experienced domestic violence. This became known from the results of the survey, “Lady Mail.ru” reports TASS.
It is noted that more than half of respondents (56 per cent) had experienced domestic violence. Furthermore, 86 percent of them continued relationship with a partner who applied them to violence.
According to the survey, 94 percent of respondents associate domestic violence with physical violence, for example, a blow with the fist. 81 percent of women believe abosom forced sex, 80% locking house. Least likely violence called the use of force during an argument — only a third of Russians considered the situation unacceptable, and faced with her 36 per cent of women.
It turned out that 97 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that the problem of domestic violence is particularly acute in Russia. The survey polled 13.6 per thousand women aged 18 to 55 years old from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
In 2018, the Russians recognized the most vulnerable in the world from violence: according to the annual world Bank report Women, Business and the Law, Russia scored zero points in the field of legislation in the sphere of protection of women’s rights because the country has not passed laws on domestic violence, harassment in the workplace and in school, and in the Criminal code there is no article on sexual violence at work — for such cases does not provide a civil remedy.
