Arrested for alleged exploitation and trafficking of children American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein accused of witness tampering, reports Reuters.

According to prosecutors in new York, Epstein transferred two unnamed persons 350 thousand dollars (over 22 million). In this regard, law enforcement officers require that the court left the billionaire behind bars until the end of the process.

Epstein arrested July 6 in new York. He is accused of creating and maintaining a criminal network that allowed him to sexually exploit and victimize dozens of underage girls. Presumably, their crimes he had committed in new York and Florida from 2002 to 2005.

In 2008, Epstein was already convicted of corruption of minors. He paid girls for sexual services and may have sold them to others. The billionaire pleaded guilty, but thanks to the lawyers he was sentenced to just 13 months in prison.
