Ten people were killed in a suicide attack in Somalia

At least 10 people were killed in the attack at the hotel Asasey in the Somali port city of Kismayo. This was reported by the TV channel CNN, citing law enforcement agencies.

Among the victims were representatives of the regional authorities, the elders of the local tribes and two journalists. It is also reported about 50 victims. According to local authorities, the number of victims can increase.

Fighters of radical group “ash-Shabab” attacked the hotel on July 12. According to the statement of its representatives, first, near the building itself undermined the suicide bomber, and then armed members of the group broke into the building.

Earlier it was reported that the attack probably killed a local Senator Ahmed Hashi.
