Djokovic praised the victory in the longest Wimbledon final in history

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic commented on the victory over Swiss Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final. Interview with the athlete, published in Twitter-account of the tournament.

Djokovic mentioned that he had dreamed about winning Wimbledon since childhood. “In my room, I of various objects made the cups and imagined that I became the champion”, — said the tennis player. Now, said Djokovic, in his hands he’s got a real trophy, that makes him feel special.

According to Djokovic, this finale was watched by his son, parents and the entire team. Also in London are his wife and daughter.

The Wimbledon final was held earlier on 14 July. Djokovic defeated Federer in five parties (7:6, 1:6, 7:6, 4:6, 13:12). The meeting lasted 4 hours 55 minutes and became the longest in the history of the tournament.

Djokovic defended the title won last year. All in all, on account of his five victories at Wimbledon and only 16 in the tournament series “Grand slam”.
