Russian actor Andrei Sokolov upset with the election Commission’s refusal to allow it to elections to the Moscow city Duma, reports “national news service” on Sunday, July 14.
“Sorry, but the law is the same for all. Of course, we are still going to my staff on this subject to talk, but if not, then no, unfortunately,” said Sokolov.
The actor also spoke about his experiences pressure from competitors and shared the General impression of the signature of the company. “A lot of manipulation from my competitors and foam, not a fact”, he added.
According to Sokolov, in the future should reduce the minimum number of signatures to be obtained by applicants for participation in the elections, either to replace this procedure by making a financial pledge.
Earlier, on 14 July it was reported about uncoordinated action in the center of Moscow in support of the opposition representatives not allowed to participate in the elections because the electoral Commission rejected the signatures.
The Moscow city Duma elections scheduled for 8 September. The participation of more than four hundred registered candidates.
