The United States can begin to issue licenses to American companies to resume trade with China’s Huawei in the next two to four weeks. This writes Reuters, citing sources.
Two American chipmaker that worked with Huawei before the introduction of restrictions in respect of the company, said that in the near future are going to appeal to the American authorities for licenses.
At the moment, the American firm can sell only Huawei equipment necessary to maintain operation of existing networks, or to provide updates for the software. For sales of new products Huawei American contractors require a special license.
In late June, U.S. President Donald trump after meeting with Chinese President XI Jinping at the G20 summit in Japan has decided to allow American companies to sell Huawei equipment if it does not threaten the national security of the United States. Then the us Department of Commerce said that the decision of the trump does not mean the exclusion of Chinese companies from their blacklist.

The decision followed the failure of the next trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing.
