The interrogation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on the case of murders on the Maidan coded

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko was questioned by the National anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in the case of murders on the Maidan. On it informs TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

Lutsenko said that he was held as a witness in the case of biased qualification of actions of the participant of the Euromaidan Ivan Bell. Because of the gag order he was unable to tell reporters the details of the interrogation.

The bell was detained April 3, 2018. Initially the Prosecutor General’s office incriminated him murder, infringement of life of law enforcement officer and unlawful use of a weapon. 5 APR Lutsenko removed the item about the murder of the official charges. Later the Bell was released on bail of two deputies from the party “Block of Petro Poroshenko”.

In February 2016 Bell admitted that during Euromaidan he was shot in the head killed the two commanders of the “Berkut” special forces and wounded several security officers. According to him, he received a Kalashnikov rifle and 75 rounds of ammunition from another member of the Maidan.

At the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 swept across Ukraine anti-government protests, dubbed Euromaidan, as the largest rally was held on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence square) in Kiev. The result was a change of government in the country by the armed confrontation of protesters with security forces have killed 106 people. The ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and several former Ministers left the country.
