The Ukrainian government has extended the embargo on the import of goods from Russia. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

A ban on the supply of certain categories of goods will be valid until the end of 2020. The previous limitation was due to expire on 31 December this year.

At the end of June was extended the list of goods the import of which into Ukraine from Russia is prohibited. It includes cement, bark animal, match, Wallpaper, wire, pipes, steel utensils and tractors, t-shirts and other products. The total volume of goods affected by the restrictions is estimated at $ 530 million a year.

This step was a response to similar actions of the Russian government. The volume of goods prohibited for import to Russia amounted to $ 250 million per year.

First mutual restrictions were imposed in 2016, and since then repeatedly extended and expanded.
