Ukraine stated about impossibility to transfer the Vyshinsky of Russia

Ukraine cannot transfer to Russia the chief editor of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky, as he has a Ukrainian passport, said the country’s Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko. His words on the page in Facebook quoted the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.

According to Lutsenko, Vyshinsky — the person with the most would be in Moscow, but the Ukrainian Constitution prohibits the extradition of their own nationals to foreign countries. “Therefore, the transfer of Russia is impossible. At least as long as the Ukrainian court did not decide in his case — whether he’s guilty or not,” — said Lutsenko.

Previously, on 15 July, the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General announced the imminent release of Vyshinsky. According to her, Kiev may exchange journalist on 24 Ukrainian sailors who participated in November 2018 in the provocation in the Kerch Strait, Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko and Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov.

Cyril Wyszynski was arrested in Ukraine in may 2018. He is accused of support of the unrecognized republics of the Donbass and treason.
