Contamination of Russian oil company “Transneft” hlororganika was recorded before the incident with the oil pipeline “Friendship”. About it writes “Kommersant”, citing a source.
According to the newspaper, 4 April impurity, concentration of which reached up to 27 ppm (ppm), recorded in the Volgograd oil refining factory (NPZ) “LUKOIL”. Thus, the contamination was known two weeks before the complaint of the Belarusian “Belneftekhim”.
In connection with the contamination of the refinery is addressed in “Transneft Volga region”. It was recorded until April 12, the newspaper notes. In “Transneft” and “LUKOIL” confirmed exceedance Prime, but noted that the situation is not connected with the subsequent problems on “Friendship.”
In LUKOIL did not explain how hlororganicheskih connections could get in the oil. Meanwhile, in early June, the head of the company Vagit Alekperov asserted that LUKOIL does not use hlororganika for oil. Was making similar statements representatives of other oil companies.
Belarus on 19 April reported that the oil pipeline “Druzhba” received low-quality Russian oil, in which the content of chlororganics many times exceeds admissible norm. As a result, the transit of raw materials to Europe via the Druzhba pipeline was stopped. Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft said that the oil was contaminated intentionally. In Russia opened a criminal case, involving 13 people. The situation has become the largest oil crisis in modern Russian history.
Pollution oil hlororganika leads to a conclusion out of operation of technological equipment of the refinery. In particular, hlororganika can lead to the formation of hydrochloric acid in the pipeline and as a consequence corrosion of the equipment. Long processing dirty oil can lead to the replacement of equipment.
