District election commissions denied registration to several independent candidates for the Moscow city Duma. This was reported by “Interfax”.
The electoral Commission of the 43rd electoral district of Moscow refused to register the candidate the employee Fund to fight corruption Love Sable. The Commission invalidated 712 signatures in support of the Sable from the provided 4940, another one — doubtful. Thus, were deemed invalid 14.4 percent of the valid signatures in the 10 percent. Among the violations discovered signatures of dead people, the discrepancy of passport data, the signatures of the inhabitants of other districts and twice left of the signature.
The Commission of the same district rejected the rock musician Sergei “Spider” Trinity. 4610 of the submitted signatures were deemed invalid 687.
In other districts also refused opposition candidates: the employee FBK Ivan Zhdanov (8th district), municipal Deputy district of zyuzino Konstantin Jankauskas (32nd district), Julia Galiamina (9-th district, self), Kirill Goncharov (32nd district, the party “Apple”), Dmitry Gudkov (5th district), actor Andrey Sokolov (43rd district) and member of the Federal political Committee of the party “Yabloko” Sergei Mitrokhin. On July 15, the Commission rejected the candidate on the 45 th district Ilya Yashin.
After the announcement of the results on Trubnaya square in Central Moscow began another protest action from-for not admission of opposition candidates.
Previously, on 16 July, several independent candidates for the Moscow city Duma at the meeting with the leadership of the Central election Commission called on them to prevent the election to bypass the procedures required by law. Thus, Sergei Mitrokhin said that the electoral Commission shall register all independent self-nominated candidates, provided the required number of signatures, as the procedure of signature verification is not working properly.
July 14 in the center of Moscow was an inconsistent action associated with the avoidance of pre-election opposition candidates Lyubov Sobol, Ilya Yashin, Ivan Zhdanov, and Dmitry and Gennady Gudkov. The Moscow election Committee explained that they were not allowed due to errors in submitted documents and issues with signatures. Some candidates also brought the signature of those who had died. The CEC said that calling for people to go out with independent candidates say about the weakness of the latter.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin does not intend to intervene in the situation around the elections of deputies of the city Duma, but watching what is happening. Sands also ruled out the possibility of failure of collection of signatures for registration of candidates for elections.
