Disqualified Russian boxers Alena Tokarchuk and Islam Dasaev will receive additional punishment for participation in competitions. It is reported TASS with reference to the Boxing Federation of Russia.

“Disqualification will be increased on a mandatory basis. It will be double punishment for them,” said the organization.

Earlier on July 16, Reuters reported that Tokarchuk and Dasaev participated in official tournaments in 2018, in spite of the suspension, which was announced by the Russian anti-doping Agency.

Dasaev was disqualified in 2017, four years for violating anti-doping rules. In the summer of 2018, the boxer took part in the national competition. Tokarchuk received two-year suspensions in 2017. In the winter of 2018, she participated in the tournament organized by the Boxing Federation of Moscow.
