The state Bureau of investigation (UIR) of Ukraine has opened 11 criminal proceedings against former head of state Petro Poroshenko and his closest officials. This was reported to journalists by the head of the Roman Trumpet, transfers “RBC-Ukraine”.
Tube stressed that the former President will again call on interrogation on business connected with the sale of plant “Workshop on Rybal’s’ke”, since on July 17, in investigative actions he was not. “Nobody is declared suspicious, Poroshenko should be interested in testifying,” said he.
RRT is investigating possible tax evasion and legalization of illegal income from the sale of the company. In the framework of this production has been questioned businessman Sergey Tigipko who purchased “the Forge”, conducted seizure of documents. Poroshenko summoned for questioning as a witness.
In early may, the former President of Ukraine have already skipped without warning another interrogation in the Prosecutor General’s office on the case of murders on the Maidan in 2014. He was required to sign the Protocol of interrogation of 2016 and to give additional testimony. Later he explained that he was busy with Affairs of state, and still came to the office three days later.
Earlier it was reported that GBR investigated five criminal cases against Poroshenko. All production is initiated, a lawyer and former Deputy head of the administration Viktor Yanukovych Andriy Ports. The former President is accused of attempt of usurpation of judicial power, treason, money laundering, possible misappropriation channel “Direct”, abuse of official position, legalization of the criminal proceeds offshore, tax evasion, and falsification of documents about the formation in 2016 of the coalition of parliamentary factions and illegal appointment of the government.
