The Russian market is important for Georgia, and refrain from him — enemies of the state. This was stated by the Chairman of the ruling party “Georgian dream — Democratic Georgia”, Bidzina Ivanishvili, his words leads to “Georgia Online”.
“Those who tells us why we need the Russian market, here, we have the markets of Ukraine and Europe, they are ignorant and uneducated,” he said.
According to Ivanishvili, the substitution of the Russian market is not easy for anybody, especially for Europeans. “It is not easy to do it and for some basic reasons, as the products and attract the attention of consumers is not a simple process, it needs years”, — said the head of the party.
Ivanishvili recalled that Georgian products are well-known in Russia and she has a consumer. “Diversification has been happening for years when the Russian market was closed. Supporters of the closure of the Russian market and the cessation of trade with Russia are enemies of the state”, — he concluded.
Relations between the two countries deteriorated at the end of June.
