Lavrov called the condition for the resumption of air links with Georgia

Russia may lift the ban on flights to Georgia if the authorities manage to stabilize the situation in the country and eliminate the threat to the security of the Russians. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said in an interview “Arguments and facts”.

Lavrov noted that the part of the radical political forces “in Georgia fomenting Russophobic sentiments”. It causes damage primarily Georgia and its citizens. Relations between Russia and Georgia worsened in June amid mass protests in Tbilisi.
