Russia will supply Turkey anti-aircraft missile complexes (AAMS) s-400 until the end of 2019. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov in an interview to “Interfax”.
According to him, Moscow is well on schedule and has not broken a single part. “The implementation of the contract, including the training of Turkish specialists will definitely be completed this year”, — said Borisov.
Deputy Prime Minister added that the US is unprecedented pressure on Ankara because of the decision about purchase of s-400, threaten the Turkish authorities and blackmail them. “But I must say that Turkey is consistent in its decisions,” he said.

Earlier, Erdogan said that the deal with Russia to supply s-400 is the most important agreement for Ankara. Turkey also assured NATO that the Alliance will become stronger and will be the beneficiary of this transaction.
The delivery of s-400 to Turkey began in July. The US and other NATO countries fear that if Ankara will appear and s-400, and the American fifth generation fighter F-35, the Russian radar systems will learn to calculate and track these aircraft.
The Turkish side explained the Pentagon that the decision to buy Russian air defense system is associated with significant air and missile threats.
A contract to supply Ankara with the four battalions of s-400 was reached in the fall of 2017. The contract is worth $ 2.5 billion, half of this amount will cover the Russian loan.
