The United States and Ukraine have not provided the required data, the Joint investigation team (JIT, SSG), which deals with the death of a Malaysian “Boeing” in the Donbass in 2014. In an interview with RIA Novosti said the Russian Ambassador in the Hague Alexander Shulgin.
According to him, the Dutch side in 2015 demanded from Moscow, Washington and Kiev radar data the primary observation area, where, presumably, launched a shot down the aircraft missile. The information provided only Russia. “Ukraine came up with some unimaginable stories about (…) routine work. And investigators SSG unequivocally that fiction took as the ultimate truth,” said Shulgin.
The diplomat noted that the Russian data was transferred in October 2016, the investigators helped to decipher them and make sure that the rocket launch from the intended area. However then Moscow in response I heard only “sonorous verbal trick” to not consider these data: in particular, the JIT said that the missile simply flew too fast and that it is “the absence of pictures doesn’t mean that she wasn’t there,” he added.
Ambassador in this regard indicated that equitable cooperation between the Netherlands and Russia in the case of a crash currently, there is not expected. He also said that the investigative team closed club, which is in no hurry to share information.
Shulgin also noted that the Dutch had not sent the Russian request for extradition of suspects in the case of a crash.
“Boeing-777” Malaysia Airlines flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the Donetsk region exactly five years ago — July 17, 2014. All 298 people on Board were killed.
An international investigation concluded that the plane was shot down by a missile complex “Buk”, and announced the names of four suspects, including three Russians and a Ukrainian. It is expected that the court in this case held in the spring of 2020.
The Russian foreign Ministry called the accusations “totally unfounded” and stressed that the investigation team has not provided any concrete evidence of the involvement of the Russian side to disaster.
