Russian city hit the hundreds of the safest in the world

Nizhny Novgorod was on 53 place in the list of 328 cities in the world, ranked according to the level of safety of the travelers. The ranking published by the portal Numbeo.

The list was compiled based on an online survey of citizens of different countries in the first half of 2019. Its top line was the capital of the United Arab Emirates — Abu Dhabi. The level of security in Abu Dhabi was estimated at 89.4 points out of a possible 100. On the second position — Doha (Qatar) with 88 points, the third — canadian Quebec (85 points).

The ten most safe cities in the world also included (in order of decreasing ranking): Taipei (Taiwan), Munich (Germany), Dubai (UAE), Zurich and Bern (Switzerland), Hong Kong (China) and Eskisehir Turkish.

Nizhny Novgorod was the only city in Russia, the top one hundred list. He was awarded nearly 73 points (53). Moscow was at line 143, Saint Petersburg — ten positions higher. Ekaterinburg took 198 place, Novosibirsk — 204-E.

Last place went to Caracas (Venezuela), where the security index equal to 14.7 points.

If we consider the cities of the former USSR, the safest recognized Estonian Tartu (79,6 points, 16th place in the rating), and the least — Kazakh, Alma-ATA (29,4 points, 308 place).

Earlier in July, was named the cheapest city in the world. The leader of the rating became Pakistan Rawalpindi.
