Three of seven defendants in a criminal case of robbery involving the FSB and special forces, confessed. On Wednesday, July 17, reports “Interfax” with reference to the case papers read out in the Moscow military district court.
At the moment, admitted his guilt, the captain of the FSB Vladimir Urusov, one employee of special services — Khetag Margiyev and employee management “K” (banking Department) of the FSB, Alexander Vlasov, to repay part of the damage. According to the lawyer of the fighter of special division “alpha” of the Novel Obolensky, his client pleaded guilty in part.
Despite the fact that the staff is charged with robbery with a weapon, Urusov said that “no one with weapons was not threatened”.
According to the investigation, they and four of their colleagues was robbed of a 136 million roubles from a certain Maranov Alexander, who is recognized as victim in the case.
On 5 July a military court in Moscow arrested five employees of the FSB until August. Two at the same time sent under house arrest. Among those arrested in the case were the fighters of the special group “alpha” Vladimir Urusov and Roman Obolensky, and also employees of management “To” special services Dmitry Calvin, Alexander Karelin and Alexander Vlasov. They are suspected of a crime under part 4 of article 162 (“Robbery committed by an organized group, in especially large size”). Later in business there eight new defendants.
The owner 136,5 million rubles stolen by the FSB under the guise of operational search activities in the building of the Moscow Bank “metallurg”, is recognized as an unemployed resident of Moscow. 33-year-old man said that he had lent a large sum in rubles with friends. In may 2019, he wanted to exchange money for dollars and asked for help to do this at a favorable rate of a Boris allegedly associated with the management of the Bank “metallurg”.
