A major German politician urged to lift sanctions against Russia

A reasonable next step in the relations between Russia and the EU removal of anti-Russian sanctions, said the head of the German Federal state of Saxony Michael Kretchmer. His interview of July 17 published by the newspaper Die Welt.

“We have no other way — Kretchmer believes, Correctly, that Russia has returned to the PACE and Germany forced construction of the pipeline “Nord stream-2″. Next is to proceed to a lifting of sanctions”.

Earlier on July 18, foreign Minister of Germany Heiko Maas said that peace in Europe is possible only under condition of cooperation with Russia and the dialogue with Russia despite differences on many issues.

On 15 July the former Minister of the office of the Chancellor of Germany Ronald Pofalla explained the necessity of the gas pipeline “Nord stream-2” for Europe. According to him, this project is one of the most ecological and profitable method of natural gas supplies to the continent, so the European Union will not be able to stop its implementation.
