Enterprises operating under the program “development of the industry, innovation and agro-industrial complex in St. Petersburg”, will receive 200 million rubles for technical re-equipment. The corresponding decree was signed by acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, according to the website of the city administration.
“Regulation is aimed at creating conditions for creation of high-tech and high-performance businesses and increase their production”, — stated in the message.
The maximum amount of assistance a single entity will amount to 10 million rubles. Funds are available for reimbursement of certain costs related to payment of lease payments for purchased equipment.
The administration said that 2018 grants were provided to 29 industrial enterprises for the purchase of 308 units.
July 15, Beglov urged officials to monitor the implementation of programs to improve productivity. In addition, the acting head of St. Petersburg emphasized the importance of increasing the investment attractiveness of the city.
