According to him, the gander often comes to visit Krishna and “together they feel very well”. Subscribers in social networks advised him to hold the bird wedding.
Andrew wrote a letter to Minsk city Executive Committee with a request to conduct a field check of the pair in the Loshitsa Park. However, Minsk authorities refused, citing the fact that the ceremony required a statement from the bride and groom, who must be citizens of the country. In addition, officials pointed out that the geese can’t get married under the family code of Belarus, which States that marriage is the voluntary Union of a man and woman.
The owner of the geese have not abandoned their ideas and plans to hold a celebration in one of the clubs in the city on July 28.
In July 2017 the mayor of the Italian city Pontirolo Nuovo banned the use of dogs for offerings of wedding rings during the wedding ceremony. He stated that animals would be present in the building only on leashes and in muzzles.
