Lost in Karelia tourists from Moscow declared wanted

The police announced in the search for two tourists from Moscow who went to Karelia to travel by canoe on the North of the region and stopped communicating. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the regional Directorate of the interior Ministry.

“Employees of criminal investigation OMVD Russia’s Loukhskiy district established the whereabouts of the inhabitants of Moscow, who on 8 July on a kayak came out from the lake Pisemskii, then along the coast of the White sea was to reach the village Palanga”, — stated in the message.

We are talking about a married couple from Moscow — Olga and Nicholas Evsyukova. They went on a trip with a dog of the Beagle breed. Relatives said about the loss of tourists, on 16 July, and 17 August started their quest.

Relatives of the tourists said “the Tape.ru” that the last time the pair made contact on July 7 from the village Granary. The end point of their route was to become the village of Chupa, not Polanga, said they. Anyone who’s seen tourists asked to share information about their location.
