Roskomnadzor has fined Google for failing to comply with Russian laws. As reported on the website of the Supervisory authority, the amount of recovery amounted to 700 thousand rubles.

Officers conducted a test and found that Google had not complied with the requirements for filtering of search results. In the results, you can still find links to forbidden on the territory of Russia content.

It is reported that Google is filtering selectively: the results remained more than a third of the references entered in the register of prohibited information.

At the end of 2018 Roskomnadzor fined half a million rubles. Then the head of service Alexander Zharov said that the Agency intends to achieve compliance with Russian laws. A month before, during the official meeting representatives of Google said that the Corporation is ready to comply with the legislation of Russia.
