Ukraine imposed special duties on the import of Russian liquefied natural gas and diesel fuel. This was announced by the representative of the Ukrainian President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus on his page in Facebook.
According to him, the decision was taken in response to the expansion of the Russian economic sanctions.
Thus, the special duty on diesel fuel will amount to 3.75 percent from 1 August and 4 percent from October 1, liquefied gas — 1.75 and 3 percent, respectively.
Gerus added that these fees will not affect retail prices at gas stations.
Earlier, entered into force a ban on the supply of coal and oil products from Russia to Ukraine. Restrictions also touched on engineering products, light industry, metal processing and other types of goods totaling $ 250 million.
