Ukraine is actively losing its labor potential due to the migration of technical specialists. This was reported by the owner of the group of companies “UKRINFORM” Oleg bakhmatyuk, writes UNIAN.
According to him, today the Ukrainian business is fighting for the profession of driver, agronomist, mechanic, combiner. The country is losing these specialists as they travel to work in Poland and Germany. “If the government will not stop this process, we will only state employees, pensioners, children and seven million working people who are not able to provide this territory,” — said the businessman.
Bakhmatyuk added that Ukraine should follow the path of the economically developed countries that commit to healthy protectionism. He also criticized the country’s leadership, which is not involved in the regulation of internal processes and “living in a some kind of Vatican”.
In February the former Minister of transport and communications of Ukraine Yevhen Chervonenko said that skilled Ukrainian specialists leave for Russia due to the poor economy and lack of prospects at home.
Then it became known that nearly a million Ukrainian citizens make contributions to the Polish pension Fund. According to statistics, the largest number of migrants coming to Poland from other EU countries and from former Soviet republics. Most often the newcomers are working in processing industry, construction, transport and storage facilities.
