July 18, senior researcher at the Institute of atmospheric physics of the earth RAS named, a climatologist Alexander Chernokulsky said that in the next five years, Russia is expected to jump to extreme climate change. He claims that the reason for the temperature anomalies may be the arrival of a blocking anticyclone. This is evidenced by heat waves in Europe and cool summer in Russia: in one part of the anticyclone occurs the inflow of heat, the other with the inflow of the cold.
