Pro-presidential party “servant of the people” will be ready for a coalition with the “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko, if the party of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk’s “the Voice” will not pass to the Verkhovna Rada. About it in interview to the edition “Left coast” said first assistant of the President of Ukraine Sergey Shafir.
According to Sefira, the party of Vladimir Zelensky in the first place are focused precisely on an Alliance with Vakarchuk. He also added that the coalition format in the command Zelensky “always wanted”. “And even this was evident by the statements of Vova in the election campaign”, — said Shafir.
However, if the party Vakarchuk will not pass to the Verkhovna Rada, “the servant of the people” will look for other options of the coalition. “With [Petro] Poroshenko — no, Tymoshenko is quite possible”, — said the assistant to the President. However, he said that the coalition will be held, if “homeland” will be “normal requirements”. In addition, Safir noted that he is against any coalition, because it’s only a “division of portfolios”.
July 16, Yulia Tymoshenko called on Zelensky to create a coalition of all Pro-European forces, excluding only the “European solidarity” Petro Poroshenko. This must be done regardless of how many seats in Parliament will receive a “servant of the people,” he said.
Before the media, citing sources in the Pro-presidential party, wrote that “Batkivshchyna” Tymoshenko does not see as a coalition partner, focusing on the party Vakarchuk. At the same time, in case the party of the former head of the SBU Igor Smeshko “Strength and Honor” will be able to overcome the five percent barrier, the negotiations can go with her.
Prior to that, the leader of the “servant of the people” Dmitry Razumkov also talked about a possible merger with the “Voice”. According to him, the issue is not with whom to associate, and the reason why. “If those objectives and goals that they set before themselves, will coincide with the value bases of the party “servant of the people”, then theoretically the Union is possible,” he said.
