The Iranian Islamic revolutionary guard Corps (IRGC) seized a British oil tanker Stena lmpero. It is reported by Press TV on Twitter.
The incident occurred in the Strait of Hormuz. As stated in the IRGC, the tanker was detained for violation of international norms. What broke the British crew, not specified.
The shipping company Stena Bulk, which owns the tanker, announced that the ship approached the other vessels and a helicopter, after which the crew has stopped communicating. Onboard there were 23 persons, information on casualties there.
