Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to the temporary accommodation of the victims of the floods in the Irkutsk region met a boy Dima from the flooded Tulun. It is reported RIA Novosti on Friday, July 19.
The participants of the meeting told Putin that Dima was looking forward to it. Soon after meeting with the President of the child admitted that he really wants a machine with a remote control.
“The machine want? — asked Putin. — Dima, you will be. What do you want? Mercedes? I will try”.
Earlier during the working visit, Putin spoke with six-year-old Matthew Safronov, the family home which was destroyed.
He told the President that in September, expects to go to kindergarten. “He drowned, but his repair. Now we’ll go for the cake. It will be a feast in honor of you, to have you back here,” he said.
Putin, in turn, assured the young Russian that will come back to the region to check on rebuild infrastructure.
The President arrived in the area on Friday morning. This is his second visit in a month.
