Consultations between Russia and the Netherlands on the theme of Malaysian Boeing MH17 continue behind closed doors. This was stated by the Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko, reports RIA Novosti.
“Such consultations are going, but we agreed to the confidential nature of this process”, — quotes Agency of his word.
On July 17, the fifth anniversary of the incident, the Russian diplomatic Department spoke about the investigation of the tragedy: the official comment of the foreign Ministry says that it has become a tool for unscrupulous political game against Russia.
“Boeing-777” Malaysia Airlines flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the Donetsk region on July 17, 2014. All 298 people on Board were killed.
An international investigation concluded that the plane was shot down by a missile complex “Buk”, and announced the names of four suspects, including three Russians and a Ukrainian. It is expected that the court in this case held in the spring of 2020.
The Russian foreign Ministry called the accusations “totally unfounded” and stressed that the investigation team has not provided any concrete evidence of the involvement of the Russian side to disaster.
