In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district will be engaged in the preservation of cultural and historical heritage of the village of Zenkovo. This was announced by first Deputy Director of the Department of culture of the region Irina Kibkalo, reports TASS on Friday, July 19.
According to her, in the framework of the project entitled “On Zenkovo with Love!” directed including the development of tourism, will create a cultural and exhibition center.
In particular, it is planned to acquaint visitors with the Siberian way of life, conduct master-classes on cooking of ancient Russian dishes in the oven, to teach pottery and conduct tea ceremonies, said the author of the project, a local resident Vasily Timofeev. The village will repair a few houses, and offers stables, a petting zoo, sensory garden and an area for fishing.
“We are working on the option of week-long tours to tourists during this time, the maximum time to capture different events. At the same time in the village can live up to 30 guests, and single, if one day tour — about 50 people will be able to take” — said the Agency interlocutor, adding that regional authorities have declared readiness to support the project.
Zenkovo based 292 years ago and included in the rural settlement Shapsha, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district is one of the oldest villages of the region. At the moment the population is just over 50 people.
The initiative is being implemented under the national project “Culture”, for which a dedicated 113,5 billion. It includes three Federal programs: “Cultural environment”, “Creative people”, “Digital culture”. In accordance with the purposes of the project until 2024 will be equipped art schools and schools of musical instruments, equipment and instructional materials, creation and overhaul of cultural and leisure facilities in rural areas, acquisition of mobile multifunctional cultural centers for the maintenance of the rural population, digitization of film content on digital media of the Gosfilmofond of Russia, as well as create virtual concert halls.
