The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky does not want to “mix” the murder of journalists in Ukraine. He said this at a polling station, answering a question of journalists “Strenia” on the investigation of murders of journalists Olesya Elderberry and Pavel Sheremet.
According to Zelensky, these cases are “very delicate and very difficult” to understand why they need “step by step”. He recalled that on June 23 will be a meeting on the case of murder of Pavel Sheremet, which will be attended by the Prosecutor General, interior Minister, Chairman of national police and head of the SBU. Zelensky they will report on the progress of the investigation.
The President believes that first and foremost you need to understand, investigate whether these things do or “someone wanted them investigated”. He also promised to follow up investigations into cases of attacks on journalists.
