Chinese company first entered the top 100 largest military-industrial suppliers according to the version of Defense News, ahead of Russian enterprises.
In the ranking of 2019 in the top ten listed Chinese companies such as AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China), Norinco (China North Industries Group Corporation Limited) and CASIC (China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation). Total rating of all eight companies from China.
The highest position in the list of among Russian companies is “Almaz-Antey”, which is on the 15th place. Also there is the ranking another company of Russian Corporation “Tactical missiles” (tactical missiles Corporation), which occupies 32-e a place.
The first four of the ranking took the company from the United States. The leader is Lockheed Martin. Second place went to Boeing, the third — Northrop Grumman, the fourth — Raytheon.
Defense News notes that the European and the Russian military-industrial companies are forced to fight for foreign markets, while China and the United States has enough domestic.
In April it became known that, according to a report on trends in military spending the Stockholm international Institute for peace studies (SIPRI), Russia’s defense budget in 2018 totaled 61.4 billion, resulting in the country for the first time since 2006, fell to sixth place.
In 2018 in rating Defense News Russia was represented by 8 companies, in particular, the “Almaz-Antey” took the 8-th position, and KTRV — 25th. The first position belonged to Lockheed Martin. Until 2018 inclusive Chinese suppliers of military hardware in the list has not been submitted.
