The Central election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has recognized the past 21 of July early parliamentary elections held. About it reports TASS.
The corresponding statement was made head of the Central election Commission Tatyana Slipachuk. According to her, any events, “which would put into question the conduct of this parliamentary election campaign” has not occurred. “It took place”, — summed up Slipachuk.
Early parliamentary elections in Ukraine were held on Sunday, July 21. The total turnout amounted to 49.84 per cent voters. Most actively voted the inhabitants of the South-Eastern regions, while Western regions showed selective passivity.
The vote was held under a mixed system — 251 candidate will enter Parliament on party lists and 199 MPs will be elected in single-mandate constituencies. In the vote was attended by 24 parties and 3220 of candidates in single-mandate constituencies.
After processing 48 percent of the ballots, the five percent barrier for representation in Parliament managed to overcome five parties. By a large margin in the elections the leading party of President Vladimir Zelensky “servant of the people”, which is 42.42 percent of the vote. Second place goes to “the Opposition platform — For life” — it was supported by 12.84 percent of voters. Also in Parliament are the party of “European solidarity”, “Fatherland” and “the Voice.”
