According to the publication, on July 21, the villagers complained about the situation temporarily fulfilling duties of the Governor of Transbaikalian edge Alexander Osipov. According to one of the local residents, the Ministry of health “will send a request to the hospital about the provision of drugs and forcing them to answer, that’s all there”, but actually free medicines are not issued even to children.

In late June, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree expanding the list of medical devices that public health facilities should not be bought from foreign producers. The list of products added 14 items: “medical gauze bleached cotton”, “bandages sterile and non-sterile gauze”, medical masks, wound dressings, sterile packs, pads, anti-decubitus mattresses, absorbent underwear (diapers).
