About 43 percent of Russians believe that people get tattoos to stand out among others. 41 per cent believes that the way people follow fashion. This is evidenced by the results of opinion polls, RIA Novosti reported.
According to 27 percent, a tattoo is a sign that the person was in prison. Another 20 percent see a tattoo desire to decorate themselves, 11 percent got the tattoos as a sign of belonging to some group.
Tattoos have 11 percent of respondents. Among them, 30 percent said that made them “in his youth or stupidity.” 59 percent of respondents being over the age of 60 years. Another 29 percent have a tattoo in the army in memory of the service. 20 percent said nothing unreasonable desire to have a tattoo. Such a desire talked in age from 18 to 24 years (60%) and 25 to 34 years (40 percent). Another six percent said that they wanted to beautify themselves — so said the participants of the survey aged 18 to 24 years (28 percent).
Their tattoos would like to lose 27 percent of Russians — so often meet people older than 60 years (35 percent). 69 percent don’t like to make tattoos. Most often, the desire to get rid of a tattoo is caused by a sense of shame and feeling that to have tattoo is indecent (34%). Another 33 percent believe that their tattoo is of poor quality and visually unattractive. 16 percent are tired and no longer like their tattoo.
The poll was conducted by telephone July 9, 2019, was attended by 1.6 thousand respondents Russians aged 18 years.
