Children vacationing in the Khabarovsk camp “Kholdomi”, told about the beginning of the fire. Their words lead owned by Grigory Berezkin the RBC.
According to Elizabeth Bobrikovo the mother of one of the victims in the tent her son was the faulty battery and the heat gun. The child told parents that because of the cold weather at night the device went off, the gun sparked and the kids turned it off. The night of the fire, the boy woke to the screams and smell of burning. He went outside barefoot, in shorts, all the things and gadgets children burned. The mother of another boy confirmed the presence of batteries in the tents, but was told that the heat gun next to the sleeping place of her son was not.
12-year-old girl vacationing in “Kholdomi”, said that the counselors brought children from tents around 2:30 local time. According to her, all led to the stadium, fed, brought pillows and blankets. Those who could not take the parents, took the bus home.
Who was in the camp the boy also said that the children saw how put out the fire and get the rest of your stuff. The child reported that there was no panic and the children were counselors. “In the morning, along with counselors, we gave them water and biscuits”, he added.
Informed one of the witnesses to the fire told about the boy who carried the victims out of the fire. “He’s from my unit. His name is Alex he is 10 years old. He burned the hair, like hands and feet” — shared the girl.
A fire in a tent camp on the territory of the ski complex “Kholdomi” in the Khabarovsk Krai took place on the night of July 23, local time. In the camp there were 189 people, the arrival of the fire burned 20 of the 26 tents. Four children died who received severe burns.
In fact the incident a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”) and item in part 2 of article 238 of the criminal code (“Rendering services not meeting requirements of safety of life and health of consumers”).
On July 24 in Khabarovsk region declared three days of mourning for the victims.
