A gang of several dozen men in white shirts with sticks attacked the protesters in the subway of Hong Kong, 45 people were injured. Most of the attackers were never punished, reports the South China Morning Post.
According to the publication, men with covered faces attacked demonstrators returning from mass popular uprisings. It is known that some of them waving Chinese flags. They attacked mostly at those who are dressed in black — a color code used by the protesters to identify each other. After news of the attack gang, they organized the distribution of colored clothes in the subway stations.
Went to bystanders — just from the blows of wooden and metal poles has injured several dozen people. It is reported that the police had counted from 100 to 150 participants organized the attack, but they managed to hold only six. On 15 June the government suspended consideration of the draft, and after three days the head of Hong Kong Carrie Lam has made an apology to its citizens and assured them that the issue will be limited to those involved in murders and rapes.
