The cause of the fire in the children’s tent camp in the Khabarovsk region, in which one child died and three are in intensive care, could be the heater. It is reported TASS citing a source in law enforcement bodies.
According to the interlocutor of the Agency, a camp where children lived were heated by heaters. As one version is considered the fault of one of the heating devices, which led to the fire. “It is possible that the heater used to dry clothes. Other versions of the fire are also considered”, — he said.
Earlier it was reported that burned a tent camp found numerous violations. It was installed “spontaneously and independently”, and the organizers have not requested the regulatory authorities for its approval. In addition, a fire inspection revealed various irregularities in the test “Kholdomi” in the spring of 2019.
July 22, lit up the tent camp on the territory of ski complex “Kholdomi”, where there were 189 children. The arrival of the first emergency departments in 20 of the 26 tents burned. Killed ten-year-old girl and nine more were injured. Three teenagers from 11 to 13 years old are in intensive care. Their condition is estimated as heavy, they got 95 to 100 percent of the body burns. Another child suffered minor injuries and is in hospital in a state of shock.
The investigative Committee opened the case of the death of a child on signs of the crime provided by part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”).
