The self-proclaimed representative of the Luhansk national Republic (LNR) in the political sub-group on Donbass Rodion Miroshnik commented on the words of the head of the party “Servant of the people” Dmitry Razumkov about the inadmissibility of Amnesty for “insurgents, who are implicated in war crimes”. Statement Miroshnik leads RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, a war crime is the killing of civilians and destruction of their homes, destruction of water pipelines and grids. “In the end, war crimes is the torture and murder of prisoners of war, as it was Valery Ivanov in Lviv colony. But protecting your home and your family from natsbatov and Bandera, from unconstitutionally used inside of the state troops is a universal duty and heroism” — said the representative LNR.
He added that, in support of the Minsk agreement, Kiev needs to fulfill all the paragraphs, including the paragraph providing for the Amnesty and the prohibition of the prosecution.
July 22 Razumkov announced that the team of President Vladimir Zelensky rule out the possibility of Amnesty for participants of hostilities in Donbas contrary to Minsk agreements, the fulfilment of which took over Kiev.
In April 2014, the Ukrainian government began a military operation against DND and LNR, which declared independence from Kiev after the change of the Central government. In the spring of 2018, the format operation has been changed, the control over its implementation have received the Armed forces of Ukraine from the HSE, which replaced the anti-terrorist operation under the control of the security Service of Ukraine.
