The number of victims at a fire in a tent camp near Khabarovsk has risen from 9 to 12 people. This was reported “Interfax” with reference to the Ministry of health.

Among the injured were seven children, six were hospitalized. One child with superficial burn of the elbow was discharged from the hospital.

On 22 July there was a fire in a tent camp on the territory of the ski complex “Kholdomi”, where there were 189 people. To the arrival of firefighters burned 20 of the 26 tents, killing ten-year-old girl. Three of the injured children fell into a coma, among them was a boy of ten, who helped to pull people out of tents.

A possible cause of the fire was the malfunction of one of the heaters that heated the camp. Source TASS did not rule out that it dried clothes. The investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”) and item in part 2 of article 238 of the criminal code (“Rendering services not meeting requirements of safety of life and health of consumers”).
