In Moscow have detained the seller of rare cancer drugs Murad Balachova due to the lack of instructions to the drugs of Germany in the Russian language. This was stated by the lawyer of the businessman Zaur Omarov in the air of “Vesti FM”.
According to the radio, 33-year-old Balachova, his 39-year-old brother of Kazbek and the 32-year-old friend Alexander Balakina detained last week. The reason for the detention by the FSB and the interior Ministry was selling drugs Keytruda and no markings in the Russian language, which falls under article 238.1 of the criminal code (“the Circulation of counterfeit, substandard and unregistered medicines”).
“The cure is in public circulation in the Russian Federation. It was,” said the suspect’s lawyer. According to him, the detainees did not think that the earnings on the permitted delivery of the drug may be a criminal offence.
“The drug is the same, and, say, people use it, they are well known, so that the information becomes a little formal,” — commented the President of the Russian Association of public health Andrey Dyomin.
According to the suspect, the drugs he ordered officials, entrepreneurs and charitable organizations. Orders were taken for about two years through the website of the online store.
