The counselors tried to save children during a fire in the Khabarovsk camp “Kholdomi”. About this Telegram-channel Mash told the teacher Margarita Harina.
According to her, the part of the counselors ran to tents to save the children, the others began to Wake up coworkers, physicians and management. She noted that some of the counselors went straight at the flaming tent.
“Children run to meet you and ask for help. Nude, barefoot, with huge wounds from head to toe. Please take the pen, and we understand that it will be even harder,” — said the woman.
Irina V., which were in camp in the previous two shifts, according to other holidaymakers told to “Komsomolskaya Pravda” that the counselors and leaders to the last tried to put out the fire themselves. “Maybe to getting it all without anyone’s help. But nothing came of it, and had to call emergency and the fire,” — said the girl. As noted by Irina, the tents are very close, at a distance of approximately 40 cm, so the fire “instantly jumped”.
Earlier, the children vacationing in the Khabarovsk camp “Kholdomi”, told about the beginning of the fire. According to the mother of one of the victims in the tent her son was the faulty battery and the heat gun. The child told parents that the thermal device is turned on at night because of the cold weather, it sparked and turned it off. The night of the fire, the boy woke up to the smell of burning. 12-year-old girl vacationing in “Kholdomi”, said that the counselors brought children from tents around 2:30 local time. All were taken to the stadium, fed, brought pillows and blankets. Those who could not take the parents, took the bus home.
A fire in a tent camp in Khabarovsk Krai took place on the night of July 23, there were 189 people. To the arrival of firefighters burned 20 of the 26 tents, four children were killed. The investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”) and item in part 2 of article 238 of the criminal code (“Rendering services not meeting requirements of safety of life and health of consumers”). On July 24 in Khabarovsk region declared three days of mourning for the victims.
